An arcade game measures your reactions: the clock is running, the input window is short, and being right too slowly is the same as being wrong. A board game measures your judgement instead. The position sits there. Nothing changes while you look at it. That's why this category ages differently from every other. An arcade game gets easier as your hands learn it and eventually you top out. Mahjong Table is the real four-player tile game — the one with a Charleston opening, concealed hands, and pass-and-play for multiple people on one device. The tile-matching game most sites call "mahjong" is mahjong solitaire, a single-player patience puzzle played on a stacked layout. We have that too, as Mosaic. They share tiles and nothing else: solitaire is about spotting free pairs, the four-player game is about hand construction and reading what your opponents are discarding.
How strong is the chess AI in Castling?
Castling has five skill tiers, so the bottom rungs are genuinely beatable by a beginner and the top ones are not. It is a browser engine, not Stockfish — a strong club player will find its ceiling. The point of the tiers is that you can pick an opponent that loses to you in a way that teaches you something, rather than one that either crushes you or hangs its queen. It also ships novice tools and a daily puzzle sprint if you want the training side rather than a full game.
What is Mancala and how do you actually win it?
Mancala here is Kalah, the version most people in the West have played: you sow stones counter-clockwise around the pits and try to bank more of them in your store than your opponent banks in theirs. The two mechanics that decide games are landing your last stone in your own store to earn a free extra turn, and landing in an empty pit on your side to capture the stones directly opposite. Chaining free turns is what separates a close game from a rout, and it is entirely calculable — which is why the game is thousands of years old and still interesting.
Where are the card games?

Progress and local high scores are kept in your browser's own storage, so they survive a refresh but do not follow you to another device. Leaderboard entries are opt-in per game — you choose to submit a score, you are not signed up for anything.
